For over 40 years, Edilberto Vergara has been cultivating coffee, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. Now, as a 3rd generation coffee grower, Edilberto shares his family's passion with his own children, who are also interested in the world of coffee cultivation. His eldest son is already joining him in marketing their high-quality and specialty coffee, like this Pink Bourbon Fully washed lot. This lot is a testament to Edilberto's dedication to producing exceptional coffee, and his efforts have been successful - he has even managed to create a more disease-resistant coffee variety. In 2017, Edilberto set out to showcase the potential of his farm, Finca Las Flores, as a specialty coffee producer. To achieve this, he improved infrastructure, allowing for more precise cultivation and processing of specialty lots. Every step of the process is carefully executed, from handpicking ripe, red cherries to fermenting them in tanks and washing.
