Costa Rica Vista Al Chirripo

Café Rivense del Chirripó is a family micromill founded by Régulo Ureña and Isabel Rojas in 2005, located in southern part of Costa Rica, in Brunca region settled in a micro region called Chirripó.

The coffee is picked when the cherries are ripest, naturally dried in African raised beds under a shade to promote even drying and good amount of airflow throughout the bed. This lot is a Geisha variety in a traditional - natural process where in the Cheries are carefully sorted and dried directly after the picking. It is one of the process that the family continuously experiments to highly express the varietal character of the coffee without any great affects of fermentations.

Vista Al Chirripo as the name suggests is on the highest peak of the mountain where you can see a panoramic view of the micro region, the forest and its entire ecosystem.
